Adorable cafe with amazing food. The coffee was delicious and not too sweet, the food was so unique and absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and efficient. I loved the patio (and it was dog ftiendly!) It was a great neighborhood to sit outside and sip some coffee while dog watching. Great cafe

Glad I find this little local cafe gem hidden in a beautiful neighbourhood. I was looking for some healthy in the morning and they have vegetarian and vegan breakfast sandwiches. It was quite busy, with lots of people coming in and out to get drinks and food. Even though it is a small cafe, people all sat outside with their pet enjoying the day while I have it whole indoor area by myself. Sandwich is good. Warm and hot once arrive in front of you. More portion will be great but it really has fresh ingredients and the balance of different layer of sauce and veggies are simple and yet delicious. Combining the atmosphere and food. It is a 5 star. Need to try their lunch sandwich next time. Looks good on other review

Honestly had the best bowl of my life here. I ordered the Moroccan bowl, not expecting anything special, but was pleasantly surprised - it just tasted so good. I sat outside in the sun, even though it was a little cold, and the vibes were spectacular. Definitely coming back here.

Riverdale Perk Cafe is a true neighborhood treasure! Tucked away near Riverdale Park, it's the kind of spot that instantly feels like home. The coffee is always top quality — smooth, rich, and brewed with care and the selection of pastries and light meals is fantastic. Their muffins and croissants are especially great, and there’s always something fresh on the menu. What really sets this place apart is the atmosphere: warm, welcoming, and never rushed. Whether you’re meeting a friend, doing some work, or just relaxing solo, it’s the perfect setting. The staff are friendly and genuine, and the space has a community feel that’s getting harder to find these days. Bonus points for being close to the park for a walk after your coffee. Definitely one of my favorite spots in the city.

My girlfriend and I had an incredible experience at Riverdale Perk Cafe today. We started with the soup of the day which was a delicious loaded potato soup topped with olive oil, bacon bits, and other flavorful ingredients. The taste was outstanding, but what really impressed us was the portion size. We couldn’t believe the value for the price! We also ordered the cheesy grilled cheese, which was equally impressive in both flavor and value. We didn’t anticipate how much soup we’d be getting and couldn’t even finish the grilled cheese, though it was absolutely delicious! All of this came to just 27 before tax which is an incredible bargain, especially considering the state of the economy right now. To top it off, when we asked for a to go box, the server kindly wrapped up our leftovers for us. Truly full service! We’re so happy to have found this spot and are already looking forward to trying another soup of the day soon!
